You drive around town in your new SUV
Put a flag in the window and think you are free
But we are slaves to oil as far as I can see

It tells you what to buy what to think and how to feel

Republican, Democrat, it’s all the same
Just politicians playing in the big money game
They call it democracy I call it a shame

No risk to themselves so they send us off to war
Each day we are killing and dying some more
